-Students learn best when teachers are positive, supportive, encouraging and understanding. -Students learn best when teachers maintain high and clear expectations and provide appropriate support.
-Students' efforts and work ethic yields positive results.
-Students are successful when they create and use a variety of thinking and reasoning strategies -Students need a curriculum that incorporates instructional activities that accommodate differences in learning.

numerous AP and accelerated courses, career and technical education courses, music, art, dual enrollment at local colleges, Ann Arbor Virtual Academy, Community Resources program, Trailblazers, Read 180, and E2020.
